The Easter Triduum is a symbolic and sacred time for Christians all over the world. Good Friday has always been particularly meaningful for me. The Cross has given me consolation and strength in difficult times and has helped me to see the infinite love of God in my life. The Cross also challenges me to be a real Christian and to live forgiveness. Forgiving those who have hurt me is the only way that I can experience interior peace and freedom in my heart, and get on with my life, and strive to live it to the full.

Spending some restful holiday time in Albefuira, part of the Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost region, has lifted my mind, body and soul. Allowing the Spring sunshine to radiate into my heart has given me a renewed positive perspective on my life and a desire to continue to share the light of the Good News of the Christian faith.
